Meet Paulie

Crocheting came into my life through an unfortunate but fortunate circumstance. There was an evening where I reached out to a crochet business owner via social media. I fell in love with an outfit they crocheted and I saw that they were open for commissions and wanted to order one. Well, I was unsuccessful in ever getting a response.

A few weeks of still no correspondence, I eventually said: I’m just going to try to make it myself. So, I sought out the tools I needed online and took to craft stores, bought a couple of books, watched a couple of tutorial videos and lo and behold, I learned a few stitches.

I started with the basics and I just continued from there. Started out with blankets and eventually, I graduated. So I guess in essence I can say: Thanks for not answering me because you actually brought out a joy that is of another level and that I’m actually good at and that I actually enjoy doing!!

Now I’m not a professional (yet), but I plan on perfecting my art!!
